Flagstaff Sedona



Flagstaff, Arizona is located at the base of the San Francisco Peaks which is a 12,500 foot inactive volcano. The city is located just a half an hour's drive northeast of Sedona, making it a hub for commerce in northern Arizona. Flagstaff is called the “City of 7 Wonders” because it is surrounded by the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki National Monument, Sunset Crater National Monument and the San Francisco Peaks.

The Flagstaff Sedona area is one that draws tourists from all across the U.S. as well as from worldwide who come here to see the spectacular backdrop of red rock formations and natural beauty. Most visitors coming from afar land at the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport because the airport in Sedona is not big enough to accommodate large airliners.
